I was stationed at Marine Barracks Whidbey Is. early 59 and stayed until 61. The Commanding Officer was Lt.Col C.E. Corley, the XO was Capt. Eugene Bratt and the Guard Officer was Lt W G Ficere and everyone else was enlisted. The SgtMajor was an old China hand called Kudric, a really good man.The most men I remember while I was there was 78 enlisted and three officers. If asked would I do it again , I would in a heart beat. Retired but still a Marine - GySgt C W Linxwiler
