My husband served 2 years Barracks Marine and one year at Eastcote in Admin. We were in London from 1975-1978. A lot of great memories. Trying to locate ones that were with us at that time. Try to have a reunion every few years. Those found are Head, Ragni, Richey, Vidrine, Stengal, Orr, Mauer, Ellis, Hardigan and General Livingston. Any others out there? Would love to hear from more of you, esp. Capt.Fisher, Joe Maher, David Weinraub, SgtMg Haas. Thanks for all your doing.

Joseph R. Wygal, Sergeant (Medically Retired)
joebob@bright.net
Dear Fellow Marine, I was pleased to find this website for MarDet, London. Found a picture of myself in the section "Marines on duty" or something to that effect. I'm in the picture "Marines standing in the chow line at the rifle range. I'm in the foreground on the left and wearing glasses and smiling. A few weeks ago someone called my home and left a message inquiring if I was the Joe Wygal who had been stationed in London, England. I was. Well my wife Brenda, listened to the message and then the message accidentally got deleted before it could be recorded or I even knew of it. So I started poking around on the internet and came up with this site. Like to hear from anyone I was stationed with there. I'll try to post a story or two about the time I was there in the near future.

Richard Scheele, 1962 - 1964
RichardScheele@comcast.net
I was stationed at MB London from February 1962 to Feb 1964, first at Elvaston Place and then at St. Johns Woods. I was a brand new PFC just out of Paris Island when I arrived with about six others. At some point I made LCpl while there. After London I went to Camp Lejeune. I was discharged from Lejeune in December of 1965 as a Sergeant (how that ever happened I still dont know). I am now living in Fort Lauderdale (retired FBI Agent). I remember Bob Stoner very well and have sent him an email (hope the 4 year old email address is still good). I see a message posted by Carl Campo who must have been in London at the same time I was but I cant place him. I guess that happens after forty years.
