I recieved an e-mail from Jane Baldwin ,editor of Florida Magazine regarding an article the magazine wanted to do on Key West Marine Barracks. She was referred to me by Henry Macniel who was stationed at the Barracks at the same time as me. To make a long story short, I scanned some material to her that I had Photos etc. and, I am told that information is in this month's Florida Magazine. I don't know what the content of the article is as I have not recieved a copy yet.  I hope this sparks some interest In the Marines that were stationed there.     Semper Fi.

My name is John Maggio and I was a L/cpl stationed at Naval Base and then Boca Chica Air Station in 1964 and 1965. Looking to talk with anyone who was there at that time. My duties consisted of  Main Gate and Compound. If you were there at that time please e-mail me. Would look forward to talking you and talk about old times. I got off active duty in June 1965. Does anyone remember the wedding we put on for Pfc James Wilson from the air wing that was TAD at Boca. Or the air show that took place . Shoot me a e-mail if you do or have other memories to share.
