Would this Weapons Facility been located a RAF St Mawgens? If so, then for Marines that were in when I was there (80 -81) it was Marine Barracks London, Detachment 2. If someone could please clarify this for me please. Thanks!

Looking to coorespond with former fellow Marines stationed with me between 1975 and 1977 in Newquay England at Marine Barracks. Been trying to contact Glenn Miller (Big Glenn) from Tulsa for many years after we lost touch. I'd also enjoy hearing from any other old pals and buddies from those days. Hi fellas! I've still got all 4 walls covered Lo!! Semper Fi

I am guessing this is the Marine Barracks at RAF St. Mawgan, in Newquay, Cornwall England. Detachment 2. If so, I was stationed there in 81-82 as a pfc/lcpl. I remember the wind, and rain that never seemed to end. The dreary greasy food, and warm beer. The weekend duties, the "rotation" and that 96 hour libbo! Anyone else get a tattoo from Doc Price? I'd be willing to bet the name Big Red rings a bell! Lived in Baker Block with Owens, Sommerville, O'Hearn, Edwards, Ortiz, Joseph, Battaglia...names ring a bell? Failing, Beasley,Hicks, Cunningham, Barajas, Felty there's more given time to think about it! Anyone for a drink at the Naafi, or a trip to town, to eat at Hoi Gon's, Georges for a drink? LOL, memory is better than I give it credit! Better call Mo for a cab ride!!! Anybody out there? Shoot me an e-mail. Later Ya Blokes!
